Code of Conduct

ONYX MUN is committed to a safe, inclusive, and professional environment. Every participant must uphold the highest standards of diplomacy.

  • Professionalism: Diplomatic decorum in and out of council rooms.
  • Anti-Harassment: Zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination.
  • Zero Tolerance: Substance abuse, violence, or prohibited items lead to immediate expulsion.

Dress Code

To be informed by the Secretariat.

Academic Integrity

  • Position papers and speeches must be your own work.
  • Writing tools may support your research, but copied auto-generated content may be flagged.
  • Honesty in negotiation and adherence to rules of procedure is required.

Post-Allocation Requirement

  • Sign the Agreement of Participation within 48 hours of allocation.
  • Submit travel and ID details via the secondary form in your allocation email.
  • Failure to comply may forfeit your seat.

Attendance & Certification

  • Full session attendance required for certificates.
  • Late arrival or early departure without permission may affect certification.

Liability & Waiver

The Secretariat and host institution are not liable for loss of property or injuries during the conference. By registering, delegates agree to follow all safety guidelines.

Privacy Policy

ONYX MUN collects application data (name, school, contact, committee preferences, payment reference) solely for conference registration and communication. We do not sell personal data. Application information is accessible only to authorised secretariat members and is retained for the 2026 conference cycle unless deletion is requested via email.

Refund Policy

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing before the published refund deadline (announced by the secretariat).
  • Approved refunds may exclude payment processing fees.
  • No refunds after committee allocation is confirmed unless the secretariat cancels the conference.
  • Contact the Secretary-General for refund inquiries.

Application Rules

  • One application per delegate per round; duplicate submissions may be rejected.
  • Payment must match the UPI reference submitted in the form.
  • False information may result in disqualification without refund.
  • Committee preferences are considered but not guaranteed; final allocation is at secretariat discretion.
